The sister of the homeless man, 65-year-old Ronald Poppo, whose face was eaten away by a crazed, zombie-like man in Miami says she thought her brother died years ago.
Antoinette Poppo hadn't seen her brother in nearly 30 years, and believed that he's committed suicide a long time ago. She also spoke of how he was considered very intelligent, went to private schools, and gave no indication that he woud end up living a life on the streets as a child.

MAN KILLED WHILE EATING THE FACE OF ANOTHER MAN...
A Miami cop shot and killed a naked man, 31-year-old Rudy Eugene, who was chewing on the face of 65-year-old Ronald Poppo on an exit ramp of a major causeway.
A woman flagged down an officer, who found both men naked while Eugene gnawed on the man's face. The officer told the man to back away, but he ignored him so police shot him.
Amazingly, the man kept chewing on the other man, so the officer fired a few more shots. The victim is now in intensive care, fighting for his life.
Police and doctors are hypothesizing that the use of bath salts and/or LSD may have played a role in the attack.
Sadly, several reports claim that only the victim's goatee remained intact on his face.
