Clear Channel talker KTLK-AM/Los Angeles will present a special program on Friday (4/27) entitled, Twenty Years After The Flames: The Rodney King Beating and the LA Riots. Hosted by political analyst and Hutchinson Report host Earl Ofari Hutchinson (pictured), the program will air from 3-6p and feature interviews, commentary, remembrances from those who lived through the riots, and listener calls to discuss the changes and challenges the city and the nation still face today, some two decades later. “This twentieth anniversary Town Hall broadcast will give residents, officials, and those that were directly affected by the riots a chance to tell how they changed the city, the nation and their lives,” said Hutchinson. “This will be the most comprehensive look at the riots and its twenty year aftermath on the LA airwaves.”
