Kathleen Wells is the host of The Kathleen Wells Show heard every Wednesday at 11 a.m. PST on KCAA 1050 AM. The Kathleen Wells Show is executive produced by Roseanne Barr.

Prior to joining the KCAA family, Kathleen’s interviews could be accessed on The Huffington Post and Alternet.org. Her interviews focus on current political issues of the day, such as Afghanistan, health care, the economy, and the current U.S. drug laws.

Kathleen has interviewed such notables as: Rev. Jesse Jackson Sr., Dr. Cornel West, Noam Chomsky, Tavis Smiley, Roseanne Barr, economist Dr. Ravi Batra, Israeli peace activist and former Knesset member Uri Avnery, Prince Abdul Ali Seraj of Afghanistan, and author and legal scholar, Michelle Alexander, author of "Mass Incarceration: The New Jim Crow."

Members of the United States House and Senate Kathleen has interviewed include Congressman Kucinich, Congresswoman Waters, Congressman Rangel, Congressman Ron Paul, Senator Bill Nelson, Senator Sherrod Brown and Senator Ron Wyden.

August 10, 2011, Kathleen’s guest was Congressman Bobby Scott (D-VA). They discussed the current Budget Bill. On August 24, 2011, Kathleen interviewed Congresswoman Barbara Lee (D-CA) regarding the Congressional Black Caucus Job Fair. And on August 31, 2011, her guest was Texan populist Jim Hightower and she got the low down dirty on Texas Governor Rick Perry.

Kathleen is a native Los Angelino and holds a BA in political science from UCLA and a law degree from UC Berkeley (Boalt Hall).
