NTSB Recommends Lower Blood Alcohol Limit for Drivers
The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) made 19 recommendations to lower alcohol-related automotive deaths this week, including a recommendation for all 50 states to lower blood alcohol content (BAC) level to 0.05 to less. Other recommendations include stiffer punishments, better enforcement of existing laws, and wider use of technology to eventually lower the number of alcohol-related automotive deaths to zero.
